DAUR is led by Mydd Pharo – Director, designer and theatre-maker with over 25 years of experience creating ambitious, site-responsive/specific and immersive work across the UK and internationally.
Joshua Pharo
Joshua is an Olivier Award nominated lighting and video designer whose work spans theatre, opera, dance, live music, installation and large-scale immersive performance.
His practice is driven by atmosphere, emotion and the relationship between light, image, sound and space, creating visually striking worlds that are both cinematic and deeply human.
Ellie Williams
Ellie is an artist and designer whose practice is guided by landscape, place, and the subtle, often intangible connections between people and their environments.
With a foundation in Fine Art and a strong collaborative ethos, she works fluidly across disciplines, from painting and printmaking to design for performance, film, and large-scale public events.
Mercedes Kemp
Mercedes Kemp is a writer, educator, and theatre maker whose work has helped shape the landscape of contemporary site-specific theatre.
Born and raised in Andalucía, southern Spain, she has made West Cornwall her home for the past fifty years, developing a body of work that explores the profound relationship between people, place, memory, and landscape.

Vicky is a singer, composer, musical director and choir leader whose work has helped shape Cornwall’s vibrant community music scene for over three decades. Known for her distinctive songwriting, inventive vocal arrangements and joyful approach to collective singing, she has inspired generations of singers through choirs, workshops and large scale community performances across the UK.
At DAUR, Vicky brings a remarkable depth of musical experience alongside a passion for creating rich vocal landscapes that connect people, place and story.
