Nominated for the Olivier Award for Outstanding Achievement in Music for A Monster Calls at The Old Vic, Benji’s music has been heard on stages across the UK, from the National Theatre and National Theatre of Scotland to Bristol Old Vic, Sadler’s Wells and beyond. His score for A Monster Calls also contributed to the production winning the Olivier Award for Best Family Show.
Alongside theatre, Benji has composed scores for the multi award-winning films Tom and Weekend Retreat by Wilkie Branson, as well as I AM KEVIN. His work has been recorded at Maida Vale Studios for Gilles Peterson, and he has collaborated with artists including Bonobo, Mark Pritchard, Alice Russell, Kathleen Frances and the Heritage Orchestra. As a musician he has toured internationally and continues to compose for television productions across all major UK broadcasters.
